The Makati Development Corporation Technical Training and Assessment Center (MDC TTAC) in Circuit, Makati becomes the first CMDF accredited training center under the new Construction Training Centers Accreditation Program (CTCAP). CTCAP aims to institutionalize accreditation and conformity assessment standards that would serve as the ASEAN benchmark for accreditation of construction training facilities. The accreditation procedure includes assessment of personnel qualifications and staffing requirements, adequacy of training equipment, and other facility and equipment requirements relevant to the provision of specialized training courses.
After passing the assessment requirements, MDC TTAC was awarded the certificate of recognition from CMDF last 13 December 2017. The ceremony was attended by MDC president Dan Abando, head for MDC’s Technical Training Unit Mr. Roberto Genato and DTI Undersecretary Ruth Castelo along with key CMDF officials Engr. Rene Fajardo and Ms. Ofelia Usigan.
CMDF Accreditation is a seal of quality. It promotes consumer and public confidence in the technical capacity of training facilities to provide quality training service that adheres to the standards of the ASEAN region. Moreover, it guarantees learners are afforded with effective, safe, and professional learning environment that supports not only their individual training needs but also their career development.
