CMDF and MGS partnership produces 30 Industry Trainers

The Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF), the human resource development arm of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP), in partnership with MGS Construction Inc., and Metrowide Homebuilders Inc., initiated the first batch of Trainers’ Certification Program (TCP) for the Villar Group on 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 July 2018 at the Vista Center for Professional Development – Alabang, Muntinlupa.

The Trainers’ Certification Program is designed to equip construction industry practitioners with the capability to teach and train adult learners and contribute to the multiplier effect and meet manpower demand. Thirty (30) participants from the program were certified as CMDF trainers, ready to impart their skills, knowledge and competency to create a pool of workers and professionals ready to be a part of teams that will work on private and infrastructure projects in the Philippines. CMDF will work with construction industry stakeholders to continuously strengthen the quality of manpower across industry and support the Build! Build! Build! initiative of the government.
