CMDF-MLIT Partnership: A Collaboration for the 2nd Philippines-Japan HR Conference on Construction

As part of CMDF’s view to be an international technology solutions center, the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) through its human resources development arm, the Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF), will host the 2nd PH-JAPAN HR Conference in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation, and Tourism (MLIT) of the Government of Japan. The 2nd PH — Japan HR Conference is part of the strategic cooperation between Philippines and Japan in the development of programs for the construction industry and will focus on capacity building programs for technology through technology transfer, forum, and business matching. Aside from the conference, the 2nd CMDF – MLIT Technology Transfer Program will also be conducted. The Technology Transfer Program will help selected Filipino professionals and engineering students be informed of the advantages of the usage of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for the innovation of the construction industry in the Philippines. The training is composed of two courses, the Basic Drone Training and the Advanced Drone Training which will be held in the Construction Manpower Development Center.
